What a day of traveling...

OK, I have a little time to share with you a few of our adventures thus far. We left Crossroads and got to the airport with no trouble. At check-in we learned that we could not take clear plastic containers (which we had packed supplies in), so we had to buy a few bags in the airport shop and reshuffle things. We were able to get this glitch taken care of quickly. We checked in to head to their first destination, 10were going to Dallas, 2 directly to Miami, and 16 to Chicago...however, John Kelly, our leader of this trip, was the last to check-in...and he didn´t have a ticket. John was supposed to be heading to Dallas but was told that would not happen, so the other go on and are not sure that our leader is going to make it on the trip. Much to our surprise and many answered prayers John was able to get on the direct flight to Miami, so all was well with that incident. Then we learn that the group heading to Chicago has had to spend lots of time waiting for the weather to be able to clear up in Chicago. They finally get to Chicago and then when it is time for them to fly to Miami the same thing happened again, they were left sitting on the plane waiting for the weather to improve. They finally made it to Miami will a little time to spare. So we are united, as a group of 28, in the Miami airport heading to Bolivia. We all got on the plane...then we have to sit on the plane for 2 hours waiting for the weather to clear up enough for us to safely depart. Finally we got to Bolivia around midnight. It took amost 4 hours to get 28 people through immigration. Then it was off to the hotel. We got our rooms and were in the process of getting settled a little before 5 am.
