Sunday

After a few hours of rest some of us went to church with Danny. We went to a Spanish speaking church, it was so amazing to hear some of the same songs we sing at Crossroads being sung here in their church, in Spanish. What a wonderful opportunity to be able to be reminded that we are all praising God, regardless of how we do it or what language we do it in. After lunch we came back to the hotel to get everyone to go to lunch. We went to Casa tipica del Camba. The food was wonderful and the atmosphere was neat, we ate in an open courtyard part of the restaurant. From lunch we went to Danny & Vanessa´s house so they could welcome us and talk about the week in addition to answering any questions we may have had. We came back to the hotel, some are napping, some are sorting medical supplies, some walked to the grocery store, and I am blogging. We are going to go to the market tonight, this will be where we can do some suvenior shopping. We will go to dinner after shopping. Tomorrow we will begin our 3 projects of the week. One group will be providing a medical clinic at a church, one group will be doing construction work at the orphanage, and the third group will be helping Danny with his water well station. We will try to give you an update as often as possible, but with busy days I am not sure how frequently I will be blogging.
